8 Finsbury Circus

The public elements of this scheme forma major part of the experience of the Finsbury Circus Building.

Key Components include the double aspect Entrance Hall that provides access from both South Street and Finsbury Circus. The feature glazed lift shaft and light well that houses a Carpenter Lowings artwork. Light is introduced into these areas, and indeed into the remainder of the project to enhance the experience of the Finsbury Circus building. This includes feature treatments to shadow lift movements in the lift shaft, the enhancement of the light well artwork and the creation of a related but distinctly different presentations in the two reception entrances.

The completed scheme also incorporates a subtle façade lighting treatment, helping it to sit comfortably within this historic area within the City of London.
