The Johnson Building, a substantial office scheme measuring some 185,000 square feet, is an example of the delivery of a large scale central London building refurbishment.
The project comprises multi-let office spaces together with a communal public entrance and two specific tenant entrances. The focus of the scheme is the central ETFE roofed atrium, where one of the key lighting principles of the project – the integration of lighting equipment and concrete – is much in evidence.
The Johnson Building also delivered some new social housing provision and a new external public space.
