This project involved a major refurbishment of all of the main public areas of this well-known London hotel together with the rooms and suites. The hotel dates from the late 1920s and features several spaces that are fine examples of glamourous Art Deco interiors typical of the period. This architectural vernacular influenced other elements of the hotel refurbishment, manifesting, for example, in gold domed coffers in the refurbished suites.

On the ground floor, the hotel includes a number of food & beverage offers including the Mercante Restaurant, the Smith & Whistle Bar/Terrace, Caffe Musetti and the Palm Court Restaurant, the latter famous for its award-winning afternoon teas.

The period interiors, that are much in evidence within the Palm Court, carry through the main hotel Ballroom which is the largest function and conference facility on the Sheraton Grand Park Lane site. This space is supported by four other function spaces including the Oak Room and the Tudor Rose Room.

The refurbishment, which was completed in 2016, is a good example of a hospitality project that is entirely illuminated with later generation LED light sources. These create the warmth and texture necessary for a project of this type whilst providing greatly reduced energy & maintenance costs.
